The AP news agency is improving the security their news delivery to newsrooms and systems like Burli ahead of the 2024 US elections.
Burli is already compatible with the security updates. All versions of Burli released since late 2023 use the more stringent encryption and header token requirements that the AP now requires.
To be certain your newsroom is ready for the change, just ensure that you are running Burli NE version 16.3.27 or Burli Newsroom version 246g or newer.
Any AP customer running older versions of Burli in their newsroom after June 24 2024 may see interruptions in their AP wire feed.
