Burli runs on standard Windows PCs connected on standard Windows networks. Precise hardware requirements vary enormously depending on the size and workload of the newsroom involved, but almost all PCs generally available on the market today will run Burli with ease.
System Requirements
Burli will run on most current PCs using recent versions of Windows. Specific requirements will depend on your individual newsroom and your budget, but we can offer some general guidelines. [details]
System Architecture
Burli is highly scalable and can run on any system architecture from a single laptop with no server to small peer-to-peer LANs to the multi-server systems found in major network newsrooms. Precise architecture varies enormously, but we've provided some examples. [details]
Computer Hardware
Note that Burli does not supply any hardware (including PCs) for its systems; customers are free to source their computers and other hardware independently. Some resellers may offer hardware and software bundles. We strongly recommend consulting with technical staff at Burli or your local reseller before purchasing hardware if you have any questions about compatabliliy or suitablility of equipment.
