Iran's National Broadcaster Takes Delivery of Burli Computer Newsroom System

IRIB to install Arabic and Persian language versions of Burli

Terhan, Iran -- IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting), Iran's national government broadcaster, has taken delivery of Burli's news editing software to produce news at its main Tehran broadcast centre. Installation will begin in the coming days with complete roll-out scheduled for later in the year.

IRIB will use Burli to edit and broadcast news from a wide variety of international sources and agencies in a number of languages.

As part of the package, both Arabic and Farsi versions of Burli will be released later this year for use at IRIB. Farsi (also called Persian) is the majority language in Iran. Arabic and Farsi join a long list of languages that Burli's user interface is available in, including Chinese (Traditional), Dutch, German, French and English.
