Canadian sports radio moves to Burli
June 15, 2002

Toronto's The FAN590 installs Burli

Toronto, Canada -- The FAN 590, Toronto's Sports Radio, has begun using Burli's news editing software to produce its news, sports and talk shows. The move comes as The FAN moves to new, state-of-the-art studios in downtown Toronto.

Sports Director Scott Metcalfe says the move to Burli is a step forward for his staff. "The transition to Burli has been a very positive experience for us," he says. "For such a sophisticated package, I think everyone has been really surprised by how easy it is to learn and use. This is definitely a step forward in technology for our team."

Burli's integrated audio and text editors simplify sportscast production at The FAN. With the multi-track audio editor reporters produce complex radio reports more quickly and with higher production values than before. That quality is an advantage in the competitive Toronto radio market.
