Freelance radio news network integrates with Burli's news production system

Birmingham, UK -- Global Radio News Inc. (GRN) has today launched a major new service for radio newsrooms at the Sound Broadcasting Equipment Show (SBES). The web-based system links reports from freelance radio correspondents with newsrooms around the world. Burli's news production software has integrated with Global Radio News to allow seamless upload and download of reports.

"Correspondent reports are the cornerstone of good news," says Stefan Ellis, President of Burli Software Inc. "Global Radio News has developed an innovative bridge between freelance correspondents and radio newsrooms. Burli is delighted to offer an easy-to-use interface to GRN for both correspondents and newsroom editors."

Global Radio News and Burli appear at the RCS (Radio Computing Services) UK stand at the SBES. RCS is a world-wide reseller of Burli's news production software.

Global Radio News correspondents create and file reports in digital audio and send them to the Global Radio News website (www.globalradionews.com). Radio editors and producers can then browse and download the reports. Burli's integration of the Global Radio News service means correspondents can use Burli to create, edit and upload their items; editors and producers around the world can use Burli to receive GRN content directly to their desktops.
