Burli unveils Portuguese version

News production software adds additional language support

VANCOUVER, CANADA - Burli, the news production software for broadcast newsrooms, has added Portuguese to its growing list of language versions. The Portuguese version features a user interface entirely in Portuguese - including all menus, controls and screen instructions. Portuguese-language news sources are also supported.

"Having your computer system speak your working language can be very important for busy journalists", says Ian Gunn, Burli's Director of Research and Development. "Minutes to deadline is no time to be translating the instructions on your computer screen. Burli's language versions allow journalists to spend more time on journalism and less worrying about their computers."

"International markets are of primary importance to Burli," adds Stefan Ellis, President of Burli Software Inc. "Our various language versions are part of our commitment to serve more than the English-language news market."

In addition to Portuguese, Burli is available in English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian. Support for additional European and several Asian languages will be added later this year.
